Aggie O’Shea in “War Co-Respondent” is based on real-life war correspondent Marguerite Higgins. As war broke out in Korea, she was one of the first reporters on the spot. When General Walton Walker ordered her out of the country, citing that women did not belong at the front, she personally appealed to General Douglas MacArthur, who lifted the ban on women war correspondents because he held her in such high regard.

As I get ready for this year's reenactment season, I feel strangely pulled to binge-watch this. It's really growing on me. I really like the cast. J.J. Feild is amazing in this.
