Ready to make your next move?

Chess Club is today, September 12, 2026 at Galax Public Library! Whether you’re a seasoned chess player, still learning the basics, or haven’t played since you were a kid, you’re welcome at the board.

All ages & skill levels welcome!
Second Saturday of every month, 2–4 PM
Galax Public Library, 610 W. Stuart Drive

We’ll have chess sets available, or bring your own if you have a favorite set you’d like to play with. Come play a game, learn something new, meet other chess players, or just have some fun. No registration and no experience required!
