Yesterday’s Meet & Greet was such a wonderful way to bring our St. Martin’s community together!

We had a great time connecting with our current families, welcoming new families, and getting to know one another a little better. Moments like these remind us how special our school community truly is.

Yesterday, our 3rd graders earned a very special Stuffy & Blanket Day! 🧸📚

They have been working hard to show kindness, follow classroom expectations, work well together, and demonstrate wonderful collaboration and teamwork. Their efforts earned them a cozy little celebration!

Here are a few sweet moments from independent reading time, when students got to cuddle up with their blankets and stuffed animals while enjoying a good book.

This week, our school community came together to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows with a special Mass.

We also kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the beautiful cultures, traditions, and contributions of our Hispanic community.

We are grateful for the many cultures that make our St. Martin’s family so special and look forward to celebrating throughout the month!

Sneak a Peek was such a fun way to get ready for the new school year!

Our students had the chance to see their freshly painted classrooms, meet their new teachers, catch up with old friends, and make some new ones too.

The halls were full of smiles, excitement, and lots of happy reunions. It was so nice seeing our Crusaders back in the building again!

We’re so excited for the year ahead.

Nuestros estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer sus salones recién pintados, saludar a sus nuevos maestros, reencontrarse con viejos amigos y también hacer nuevas amistades.

Los pasillos estuvieron llenos de sonrisas, emoción y muchos reencuentros felices. ¡Qué alegría volver a ver a nuestros Crusaders llenando la escuela otra vez!

A couple of new faces we are so honored to welcome to St. Martin this school year!

Yesterday, we started the day with our New Family Orientation, welcoming some of our newest Crusader families and helping them get ready for an exciting year ahead.

There’s something so special about seeing new students and families walk through our doors for the first time, and we are grateful they chose St. Martin to be part of their story.

Today, we celebrate Ms. Stinger and her incredible 25 years of dedicated service to St. Martin of Tours and the Archdiocese of Washington!

What a special year it has been for Ms. Stinger! Not too long ago, we were proudly celebrating her Golden Apple Award, and today we celebrate another beautiful milestone, 25 years of faithful service, dedication, and love for Catholic education.

Through the years, Ms. Stinger has touched the lives of countless students and families and has been such an important part of our St. Martin community. We are so grateful for the many ways she continues to live out our mission each and every day.

Congratulations, Ms. Stinger! This truly is your year, and we are so blessed to celebrate you.

With prayers in their hearts and letters in their hands, our 2nd graders said goodbye to the butterflies they raised from caterpillars. 🦋

As they watched them fly free, they celebrated the beauty of God’s creation and the gift of new beginnings. A special tradition that fills us with wonder every year!
