Steven Fleishman the Tutor

I am a former university professor and an expert on all aspects of English, the humanities and the social sciences. I taught at the university level for about 20 years and then at a private school for 15. I have tutored at all levels - pre-school, elementary, middle school, high school, undergraduate, graduate and professional - since 2007. I help students in many subjects, and I enjoy helping all ages and levels to learn and accomplish their goals.

I have researched and taught all aspects of English language: speaking, reading, writing, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, speech-making, presentations, literature, business communication and professional English. I have also studied and taught mathematics, the humanities, and the social and natural sciences, at both the public school and university levels. I help students study whichever topic they like or need: mathematics, science, engineering, government and politics, law, management, philosophy, ethics, logic, religion, history, literature...

I taught Philosophy, Logic, Ethics, Organizational Science, and Peace Studies at the university level, at the University of Maryland and at the George Washington University.

I teach Test Preparation, for TOEFL, IELTS, GED, Praxis, SAT, ACT, GMAT, GRE, LSAT and others. I can help you earn the score you want and need. I help with all aspects of college applications: the selection process, essays, letters, etc. Many students have done special tutorials with me on the subjects that interest them most, for example: Crime Scene Investigation (Criminalistics), the Napoleonic Wars, the Physics of Machines, Horse Management, the History of Existentialism, Ancient Greek Philosophy, America in the Sixties, AI Modeling, Game Theory for Business, and so on. You could arrange a tutorial on your topic(s) of interest too.
