Please dress your child accordingly due to the weather predictions to be at 90 degrees.

Also make sure to send a water bottle for your child to stay hydrated.

Saludos Comunidad de Brown Station Elementary School,

Espero que este mensaje los encuentre bien. Tenemos algunos eventos esta semana que me gustaría compartir con ustedes.

No se olviden que nuestra Noche Internacional es este miércoles de 6pm a 8pm. Ven y celebra la diversidad de nuestra comunidad con comida, música y presentaciones. ¡El día de campo o Field Day es el viernes! Prepárense para un día de diversión y juegos. No se olviden de llevar ropa cómoda y llevar agua.

Un agradecimiento especial a nuestro PTA por coordinar y ofrecerse como voluntario la semana pasada para nuestra Feria del Libro.

La semana pasada, MCPS publicó los resultados de nuestra encuesta antirracista en la página web del condado. Espere una comunicación de Brown Station mañana con nuestro análisis del hallazgo de la encuesta antirracista y una reunión de zoom para que pueda asistir si tiene alguna pregunta. Espero que todos hayan tenido la oportunidad de descansar y disfrutar del fin de semana largo. Gracias por todo lo que ustedes hacen por sus estudiantes y la comunidad de Brown Station

Greetings Brown Station Community,

Hope this message finds you well. We have some exciting events coming up this week that I would like to share with you.

Don’t forget that International Night is this Wednesday, from 6pm-8pm. Come and celebrate the diversity of our community with food, music, and performances. Field Day is Friday! Get ready for a day of fun and games. Don’t forget to wear comfortable clothing and bring some water.

A special thank you to our PTA for coordinating and volunteering this past week for our Book Fair.

This past week, MCPS posted the results of our anti racist audit on the county webpage. Please expect communication from Brown Station tomorrow with our analysis of the anti racist audit finding and a zoom drop in meeting for you to attend if you have any questions. I hope everyone had a chance to rest and enjoy the long weekend. Thank you for all you for your students and the Brown Station community.

Arts Night and the Spring Concert is this Friday, May 19th! The event is from 6:00 to 8:00 and it’s free. Come make artwork with your family and friends and walk through Brown Station’s student art museum. You can also listen to the 4th and 5th grade chorus and instrumental music performances. Hope to see you there!
