🎶 What’s Playing in the Kingdom? 🎶

Every year, Mr. Duke gives our students a fun glimpse into the musical world of our teachers and staff! 🎸🎤🎷 From different artists and bands to completely different genres, our team’s playlists are as diverse as our school community.

It’s more than just music, it’s a chance for our students to expand their musical palettes, discover new sounds, and appreciate the incredible diversity of music that inspires the adults around them. ❤️

Who knows…maybe they’ll leave with a new favorite artist or song! 🎶✨

It’s time to lace up, get moving, and discover just how far you can go! 💖 Girls on the Run is returning to Norton Elementary, and we want to see our new and returning students ready to take on another incredible season together!

Girls on the Run is so much more than running. Through fun activities, movement, and meaningful lessons, participants build confidence, resilience, healthy habits, friendships, and the courage to be themselves. 💪🌟

📣 Registration opens TOMORROW August 17 at 6:00 AM!

✨ First Week Treats! ✨

We made it through an amazing (and BUSY!) first week of school! 🎉📚 And thanks to the incredible team Star Martial Arts - North Gainesville, our faculty and staff got to celebrate with a delicious surprise from Luke's New York Bagel Shop ! 🥯

Thank you Star Martial Arts, for thinking of our team and helping us close out the first week on such a delicious note. We appreciate you more than you know, and judging by the smiles (and full bellies!), our faculty and staff appreciated it SO much! 🥰

🚀🌙 Ms. Neal’s 3rd Grade Knights are BLASTING OFF into a year full of possibilities! 🏰✨

What better way to kick off the first week of school than with a little engineering, creativity, and out-of-this-world fun?! 🧑‍🚀🐻

Ms. Neal’s third graders followed the Engineering Design Process to create their very own lunar landers! Their mission? Design a lander that could safely secure and protect their 3D-printed astronaut AND trusty companion bear for their lunar landing. 🌙

From imagining and planning to creating, testing, and improving, our young engineers put their problem-solving skills to work, and proved that in our Kingdom of Possibilities, the sky isn’t the limit! 🚀

What an amazing way to launch into the 2026–2027 school year! ❤️🩶

The halls are ready, the classrooms are set, and our Norton Knights are counting down the hours until we welcome our students back! ❤️🩶

This past week, our incredible teachers and staff have poured their hearts, creativity, and countless hours into preparing for a year filled with endless possibilities. From transforming classrooms and planning meaningful learning experiences to working together as one team. Every detail has been about making tomorrow special for our Knights. ⚔️✨

A HUGE thank you to Florida Credit Union and Luke's New York Bagel Shop for helping fuel our amazing faculty and staff during pre-planning! 🥯☕ Your generosity helped keep our Knights going as we prepared the kingdom for a brand-new school year. ❤️

Tomorrow, the gates officially open, and the adventure begins! 🏰📚✨
