We were honored to host a fantastic tour of our Mechatronics and Engineering Labs!

GHS welcomed representatives from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), alongside our local and state representatives, to see firsthand how our students are preparing for high-demand, high-wage careers.

During the tour, our guests got a front-row seat to:

GHS was thrilled to welcome Emmy Award-winning make-up artist Paul Cha to speak with our students. Paul took us behind the scenes of the entertainment industry, sharing invaluable insights on:

💼 Career Pathways: What it really takes to make it in Hollywood and television. Pro Tips: How do I work quickly and save my boss money? Communicate and anticipate needs - If you are ready for emergencies, you can be a hero. If you aren't, you may be a zero.

🤝 Employability Skills: The importance of professionalism, adaptability, and collaboration on a fast-paced set. Pro Tip: You must be a problem solver, not a problem creator. Work twice as hard as the person next to you. Success does not happen overnight.

🎨 Make-Up Magic: Live demonstrations that brought the art of transformation to life right before our eyes!

Big news for the Red Elephant family!

We are incredibly proud to congratulate Damarius Thompson-Lewis on earning his Ph.D. in Criminal Justice-Homeland Security from Liberty University!

Dr. Thompson-Lewis is a true example of hard-work and dedication. From the classroom to the highest levels of academia, his dedication to Criminal Justice and Forensic Science is inspiring. From mastering Forensic Science to becoming a doctor in his field, he’s showing us all how it’s done!
