Kids in the Courtyard with Aunt Maggi

Due to a lack of participation the past two weeks, Kids in the Courtyard will be canceled for the time being. We may revive it on a monthly basis in the new year. Thank you to all who did come out.

Kids in the Courtyard is now open. Today's activities are all about leaves.

didn't have a response one way or the other to my previous question, so I will be in the courtyard tomorrow. Hope to see a few kids.

Is there interest in people bringing their kids to this event this Saturday - being a holiday weekend? If not, I'll cancel it and we'll do it again next weekend.

Thank you to all who came today and brought your children to connect with a few of the gifts of Mother Nature. This was the first Kids in the Courtyard event - we will have another one next Saturday, same time, same place. Nature-based activities will be the gifts of the day.

Wild Iris Books will offer a 10% discount to all participants in each of the Kids in the Courtyard events.

Citizen's Co-Op will offer a 10% discount on bulk herbs to participants in each of the Kids in the Courtyard events.

These discounts are good only on event days.

Wild Iris Books and HerbKids EarthKids invite you to Kids in the Courtyard With Aunt Maggi, a series of nature-based events for children held on Saturdays during the Winter Holiday Season. Beginning with Kids Herb Fest on November 15th, these events will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Bring the children in your life and spend time together exploring Nature.

Kids in the Courtyard With Aunt Maggi dates include: November 15, 22 and 29, and December 6, 13 and 20.

The Courtyard is located in the 400 block of South Main Street in the outdoor space shared by Wild Iris Books, Civic Media Center, Citizen's Co-Op, Radical Press Coffee Shop and Sequential Artists Workshop. While you are in the Courtyard, please spend some time supporting these fine, locally-owned businesses.

A donation of $2-$5 is suggested for admission to each Kids in the Courtyard With Aunt Maggi event. However, no child will be denied participation for lack of funds.
