Had the pleasure of taking part in an awesome portfolio review with students from during their visit to - what a talented crew!

I’ve always struggled to understand how an industry built upon creativity and uniqueness has such a cookie-cutter definition of success.

I often find myself wondering, why are so many people trying so hard to achieve the same awards, jobs, and honors that countless others already have—perhaps even more quickly and better than they ever could? Instead, why aren’t we asking ourselves, what will I do differently?

This is a very true confession of mine that took me a long time to admit.
