Antisemitism, just like any form of prejudice, is based on the ugliest human emotion: hatred. It knows no logic or empathy, nor is it an emotion able to achieve the furthering of human progress.
The Jewish Community, throughout the world and recorded human history, has for far too long suffered from the indecencies and harms of such antiquated notions. This is not acceptable now, nor will it ever be acceptable to decent human beings.
This Student Government stands in solidarity with the and the in their efforts to combat such vile ideologies and strives to advance a spirit of tolerance for the entire Student Body of Santa Fe College.
To be quiet and sit idly by while evil acts are committed is to accept them, so let the sentiment of these words be etched in everyone’s minds:
