Today, we officially kicked off the school year with our R.A.C.E. meeting in the theater—and look at this massive crowd! This isn’t even all of them! Many of our juniors and seniors were off campus taking dual-enrollment classes and were unable to attend.

This year, we welcomed 78 new freshmen, bringing our total enrollment to 246 students in grades 9–12 and making R.A.C.E. the fastest-growing Program of Choice in Hall County!

Great things are happening at Chestatee High School. Amazing things are happening in R.A.C.E.!

This morning, 4 of our R.A.C.E. freshmen received special recognition from Monday Night’s Renaissance Showcase. Mr. Skogman presented the “Principal’s Choice Award” to Leslie Portillo, Natalie Lazaro, and Payne Hughes.

Additionally, representatives from our Senior Class chose Connor McCarthy for the “Seniors’s Choice Award.”
