Description:
Marketing and Practical Application we will show you tools on how to become profitable and successful to work with athletes and individuals that are looking to excel in their performance and maintain a healthy body in the process.
We will travel to an event where you will have the opportunity to work with an athlete and practice your marketing skills. On Saturday we will review techniques for pre and post event so that you feel confident working in a live setting on Sunday.

Getting to Know the Lymphatic System presented by our very own Salina Briseno.

In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for and awareness of the Lymphatic System in massage. Salina will introduce you to the basics of the lymphatic system and offer some ways of opening the flow of the thoracic duct or ‘main drain,’ where the lymphatic vessels empty into the subclavian vein on the way to the kidneys for cleaning. She will share her tips and tricks from her experience as a Vodder certified manual lymphatic drainage therapist and as an Ortho-Bionomy practitioner. This presentation will include lecture, discussion and hands-on practice time. Please bring sheets for our table time.
Salina Briseno is an instructor at the Florida School of Massage and has a private massage therapy practice in Gainesville, Florida. Salina currently teaches Polarity Therapy, Swedish Massage, Boundaries and Ethics, Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology and HIV. She has training in Oncology Massage, Vital Organ Dynamics Ortho-Bionomy and Manual Lymphatic Drainage Certification.
