Thirty-three years ago, The Rock School opened its doors with a vision: to make disciples of Jesus who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to courageously cooperate with God in the work of redeeming the world.
That vision hasn't changed. Not once.
A lot of schools can't say that. Boards shift. Leaders come and go. Priorities get quietly rearranged. But The Rock School has been led by the same people, anchored to the same values, and committed to the same mission since the very first day.
That kind of steadiness doesn't go unnoticed. This year, three of our graduating seniors are the children of TRS alumni. Their parents sat in these same classrooms, were shaped by the same vision, and trusted us again — years later — with their own kids.
That's not a marketing stat. That's legacy of a vision.

The teachers at The Rock School could work somewhere else, but they stay here on purpose.
They stay because of the students. Because of each other. Because there's something about doing this kind of work together, inside a shared faith, that's hard to find.
They stay because they believe a classroom can be a place where redemption is real. Where a struggling student finds their footing. Where curiosity gets honored. Where a kid starts to see that their life has weight and purpose.
That's not just good teaching. That's the work of making the world a little more whole.
We're looking for people who want that. Not just a good school. A calling worth showing up for.
Current openings at therock.school/jobs.

Meet Caroline Brantley, Class of 2026, and a TRS Lifer since kindergarten. 🎓
Caroline's story at The Rock School runs deep. Her dad, Nathan Brantley, graduated in 1999 from the very school his father, Pastor George, had the vision to start back in 1993. Tonight, watching Caroline walk across that same stage to receive her diploma is the kind of full circle moment that reminds us why this place exists.
Caroline is heading to Florida Atlantic University to major in Zoology, keeps Luke 12:28 close, and her favorite high school memory is The Jump 2024. She's got "Firework" by Katy Perry on repeat, orders an Iced Caramel Macchiato, and when asked who she'd most like to have dinner with, she said Mrs. Lacy. We love that so much!
Her advice to incoming freshmen? "If you ever have a problem, go to Mrs. Ty or Mrs. Lacy." Honestly, great advice.
Proud of you, Caroline. The Rock School community is so grateful to have walked this journey with your family. 🖤❤️

He is heading to Santa Fe before transferring to study Business or Insurance, keeps Romans 8:6 close, and his favorite high school memories are the Guatemala Mission Trip and all the amazing soccer seasons. His coffee order is an Iced Caramel Latte, he's got "South and Pine" by Zack Brian on repeat, and his dream dinner guests are Mo Salah and Dustin Poirier.
His advice to incoming freshmen? "Have fun, enjoy high school, and don't procrastinate too much."
Proud of you, Christian. Go get it. 🖤❤️

Meet Casey McKenzie, Class of 2026, and a TRS Lifer. 🎓
Casey is a second generation graduate, following in the footsteps of his mom, Hannah, who graduated from The Rock School back in 1998. That is a pretty special thing!
He is heading to Santa Fe with plans to transfer to UF, still undecided on his major, and keeping 1 Timothy 4:12 close along the way. His favorite high school memory is going to the springs with classmates, his coffee order is a frosted lemonade from Chick-fil-A, and his dream dinner table seats Jesus, Cory Xkeshen, and Jason Tatum.
His advice to incoming freshmen is straightforward: "Stay disciplined. It's ok to have fun, but try to focus on schoolwork."
Proud of you, Casey. The Rock School community is cheering you on. 🖤❤️

Anthony is heading to UF to major in Finance, keeps John 3:16 close, and his favorite high school memory is the New York Trip with Theatre. He's got "A Couple Minutes" by Olivia Dean on repeat, orders an Iced Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks, and his dream dinner table seats Jesus, LeBron James, and MLK Jr.
His advice to incoming freshmen is worth taking seriously: "Work on time management and leave space to do what you like. Don't get overwhelmed with school work. Enjoy life."
Proud of you, Anthony. Go Gators! 🖤❤️

Meet Vance Moebus, Class of 2026, who joined The Rock School community in 3rd grade. 🎓
Vance is heading to Santa Fe then UF to study Construction Management, keeps Proverbs 4:23 close, and his favorite high school memory is collecting fire ants during ESS last year. Only at TRS.
His plan B is to drop out and become a niche underground rapper, which honestly tracks for someone who has "Rok" by 2 Slimey on repeat. His dream dinner table seats Jesus, Rex v2, Anthony Mitchell, and LeBron James, and his advice to incoming freshmen is the best we've heard all year: "Put your identity in God and not things of the world."
Proud of you, Vance! 🖤❤️
