Chapel is officially back! 👏🏼

There's something special about a whole room of students worshiping together and leaning in to hear from the Lord, especially in week one. We can't wait to see what He does through chapel this year.

Dear diary – week one was a really good one. 🫶

We could tell you how the first few days went, but we'd rather let our families say it. Between the happy drop-off photos, the "rave reviews" at pickup, and one very determined little girl who did NOT want to leave Play Club to go home, it's safe to say The Rock School kicked things off just right.

New friends, new teachers, and new backpacks that already look lived-in. We're so grateful for the first of what we know will be a whole year of good days like this one.

What a joy to kick off the 2026-2027 school year at Meet the Teacher this morning! Getting to see families and teachers connect face to face reminded us why we do this. Every hug, every introduction, every "so glad you're in my class" moment matters. Our prayer for this year is simple: that every student at TRS would feel seen, known and loved, not just by their teacher, but by our whole school community, and by their Heavenly Father. We can't wait to see what God has in store for this year. Let's go, TRS Lions!

This role is for someone who loves understanding how each student learns best. You'll build personalized learning plans, teach skills like executive functioning and time management, run study halls and small group testing, and provide 1-1 academic coaching, all while bridging the gap between students, parents, and teachers.

What we're looking for:

- A heart for middle and high schoolers

- Bachelor's or Master's in Education or Special Education preferred

- IB experience is a plus

- Certification or experience with learning differences

Thirty-three years ago, The Rock School opened its doors with a vision: to make disciples of Jesus who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to courageously cooperate with God in the work of redeeming the world.

That vision hasn't changed. Not once.

A lot of schools can't say that. Boards shift. Leaders come and go. Priorities get quietly rearranged. But The Rock School has been led by the same people, anchored to the same values, and committed to the same mission since the very first day.

That kind of steadiness doesn't go unnoticed. This year, three of our graduating seniors are the children of TRS alumni. Their parents sat in these same classrooms, were shaped by the same vision, and trusted us again — years later — with their own kids.
