We'd like to introduce you to a HERO tonight. Meet Emma. Emma rescued a 16 year old boy that couldn't swim from the bottom of a local apartment complex swimming pool.

16 year old Zyvion was with a group of friends at the Aviara Apartment swimming pool when he accidentally fell into the deep end. Zyvion can't swim. He quickly sunk to the bottom of the pool. His friends also couldn't swim and couldn't offer any help.

Emma saw the incident unfolding from her apartment window, ran to the pool, climbed over the fence and courageously jumped into the water. She pulled Zyvion from the bottom of the pool. Zyvion was not breathing when she rescued him from the water.

Emma performed CPR until EMS and police could arrive.

Thanks to Emma....Zyvion is expected to FULLY RECOVER!

There is no doubt in anyone's minds that had Emma not reacted, Zyvion would be dead at the bottom of the pool.

GPD is in awe of this incredible hero! We will be formally recognizing Emma in an upcoming awards ceremony !
