The HERD at CAA

What an INCREDIBLE morning! ❤️🐘✨

Our 3rd Annual Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day was one for the books! Seeing our CAA students and families show up bright and early, decked out in glow sticks, and walking, biking, and rolling their way to school is exactly what makes this event so special!

A HUGE thank-you to Gainesville Parks & Recreation for continuing to partner with The HERD to make this event possible!

An extra special shoutout to Julie Butler, who has been right there with us since the very beginning! For three years, Julie has gone above and beyond to help coordinate the countless behind-the-scenes details, organize law enforcement support, and bring this event together year after year. Her dedication and willingness to help every step of the way have been invaluable!

Thank you to the Gainesville Police Department for helping keep our students and families safe along the route, and to Dr. Jefferson for his continued support and for joining us on the walk!

And, of course, the BIGGEST thank-you to our incredible CAA students, families, and HERD volunteers! You showed up, brought the energy, and made this another unforgettable morning! Three years of building community, making memories, and starting our school day together in the best possible way!

Here’s to year FOUR! ❤️🐘

Popcorn, blankets, and great company! CAA Family night was so much fun!

A HUGE shout out to out to all the families that came out and to our AMAZING HERD volunteers for their hard work, couldn’t have done it without you guys!

Thank you to Dr. Jefferson for running the audio and video throughout the night, and to Mr. Adam Lindsey, Athletic Director at GHS, for allowing us to use the SAC for the evening. We are so grateful for your support!

Until next time! 🐘♥️

New to Centennial or wondering what The HERD is all about? Here’s a quick look at who we are and how we support our school community ❤️

Friendly reminder— please take a quick look through the Lost & Found video! Miss Izzy has been working hard organizing everything and trying to get these items back home before the end of the school year.

Even if you don’t think your child is missing anything, check anyway — my own kids each found 2-3 jackets they forgot about 🫣😂 You never know what might be hiding in there!

Let’s help clear it out and reunite these items with their rightful owners before summer break! 🐘❤️
