👏IPPD's Final Design Review event was a huge success this past Tuesday.

A big thank you to our keynote speakers, Alexander Hild (Electrical Engineer at Arthrex) and Miguel Abdo (VP of Engineering, Petro Division, Verifone), for sharing their invaluable insights on career growth with our young engineers.

Special appreciation goes out to our Keynote Team DesiGators for their engaging presentation of their innovative food dehydrator product!

😎 IPPD Alumni Spotlight: Hadrien Roy

His team was Team PowerHouse sponsored by FPL, the first team to work with the Ghost Robotics Vision 60 robot.

After graduating from UF, he applied to a dual-mobility Masters program in advanced robotics, studied one year in two different countries, France and Japan. He recently graduated from the master program and will start working as a robotics engineer for a startup company in Tokyo.

IPPD's Prototype Inspection Day was held successfully last Tuesday. Teams had a great time presenting their works to judges and received valuable feedback. Can't wait to see their final work at the upcoming Final Design Review event!

📙Storytelling: Yesterday we had guest speaker Dr. Elif Akcali, Michael Durham Professor in Creativity and Associate Professor in Industrial & Systems Engineering at UF. Our students worked on creating compelling stories and even their drawing skills.
