“During my freshman year, a few Gams, who are now alumni, were among the few people who spoke to me, which made a lasting impression. Eventually, I decided to pledge and was initiated into the sorority. The unique, kind, and creative individuals who make up this sorority welcomed me just as I am. Joining has truly been one of the best decisions of my life.”

Our second senior that we would like to recognize is Iceley Self!

During her time here in Alpha Gam she held the roles of VP New Member Experience, VP Member Experience, VP recruitment, and VP Chapter Wellness.

Here is what Iceley has to say about her experience in Alpha Gam:

"I was really unsure about Greek life when I first came to Brenau, but I wanted to try new things and I’m so glad I did. From the very beginning, the incredible women of Alpha Gam welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like I truly belonged.
Because of Alpha Gam, my college experience has been filled with so much more joy, connection, and growth than I could have ever imagined. I’ve met the most amazing people, traveled to beautiful places, and created memories that I know I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. There was always someone cheering me on, whether it was at my music performances, academic achievements, or other random little things. That kind of unwavering support meant everything to me.
Through Alpha Gam, I didn’t just find a community, I found best friends and a family. I am endlessly grateful for every moment, every memory, and every sister who made this experience so special.
I will always cherish my Alpha Gam family"

As this year comes to an end, Mu would like to take the time to appreciate and shine a spotlight on our seniors this year.

Madison is a nursing major from Braselton Georgia who plans to work as a nurse in IMCU.
While in Alpha Gam, Madison has had several positions, including; VP Finance, VP Property, VP Academic excellence, and President.

Here is what Madison has to say about her experience in alpha gam:

"It has been a honor being apart of Mu Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta. I have made so many friends that I hope will last me for the rest of my life. I have learned and grown so much as a leader and more importantly as a young woman. I have so many amazing memories- getting my littles, Ren and Morgan and being chosen to be Chapter President are moments I’ll cherish. Alpha Gam has helped to shape me into the woman I am today and though I am sad to leave, I know my Alpha Gam sisters will be with me in whatever I do."

We love you Madison and hate to see you go, but we know you will do great things in your future. 🫶❤️💛💚✨
