Need a break from classes and exams? Join the Office of LGBTQ+ Student Engagement on April 20th at 5pm in the Rainbow Room for a Q***r Quiz Quest! Compete against your friends in some fun LGBTQ+ themed kahoots, socialize, and take a much needed break from school stress!

Have you been feeling a little worn out lately with exams and involvement? Do you love to write, sing, or spend time listening to meaningful pieces? Do you like coffee? If your answer to any of these questions was YES, then you should join us on April 12th for our relaxed Coffeehouse Slam Night! Share any type of spoken word or literary performance is welcome- poetry, lyrics, short stories, speeches, whatever you wish to share with others! We'll be making your choice of coffee/lattes on hand for you to enjoy, so you don't want to miss it! ☕️🎤

It’s time for spring cleaning and closet clean out gators!!! 👚👗👖👕 We are so excited to host our gender-inclusive community swap on April 3rd from 5:30-6:30 PM in the Rainbow Room (second level of the Reitz Union)! Let’s practice sustainability and promote gender euphoria with some new to you items from the swap - see you there! ✨

Join the Office for LGBTQ+ Student Engagement as we celebrate Trans Day Of Visibility on Friday, March 31st!
We will have arts and crafts activities in the Rainbow Room from 1-5pm for drop in visits at any time and a celebration from 3-5pm with food, music, friends, and fun!

Hey Gaytors! Come join us this Thursday, March 23rd from 5-7pm in the Rainbow Room (located on the second level of the Reitz Union) for a movie night where we will be watching Pride! Pride is a movie about an unlikely friendship that is forged between a small community of striking miners in Wales and a team of London-based gay-and-lesbian activists who help fight their cause. Along the way, they find that they have more in common with the people of this struggling community than anyone on either side could have expected. We look forward to seeing you there!! 🎬🍿

We are thrilled to announce that the Office of LGBTQ+ Student Engagement will be hosting the Lavender Awards this year!! These awards are intended to recognize significant contributors to the LGBTQ+ community at UF through emphasizing their accomplishments and honoring the efforts they have invested within it! We will be accepting nominations until Friday, April 7th, 2023, at 5PM for the following awards:

- Gaytor of the Year Award
- Excellence in LGBTQ+ Research & Service Award
- Solidarity Award
- Outstanding LGBTQ+ Community Mentor Award
- Organization of the Year Award

It is FINALLY time to announce the event you have all been waiting for!!! Lavender Graduation will be hosted on April 26th from 6:00-9:00 PM in the Grand Ballroom in the Reitz Union! 💜 We are incredibly excited for this event and cannot wait to celebrate our graduating students. Hey there Gaytors! If you like snapping pics with your friends, art, photography, or LGBTQ+ history, we have the event for you! Thursday, March 9th will be our SnapShots event, where you can take part in a mini gallery walk displaying a few influential artifacts, learn background on these pieces and arts in LGBTQ+ history, use a limited Snapchat filter made exclusively for this event, take photos at our 'Mega Polaroid', and more! See you there 📸

Another Office of LGBTQ+ Student Engagement classic we encourage everyone to attend our game night on March 2nd from 5:30-7:00pm in the Rainbow Room!! We will have snacks, games, and tons of fun 🤩 Take the time to decompress and be with community - you deserve it! 🌈
