Hall Mountain Education

Hall Mountain Education This scholastic institution, accredited by AdvancedED, provides opportunities for those students to obtain their Georgia high school diploma.

The mission of Mountain Education is to provide a second chance opportunity to students across North Georgia to earn an accredited high school diploma in a student centered, self-paced, evening public high school. Mountain Education is a non-traditional, self-paced, mastery learning evening high school serving students ranging in age from 15 to 22, who have left the traditional day school. Known as a “second chance school”, Mountain Education is a viable alternative to seeking a GED. ME utilizes the talents of highly qualified teachers while providing the opportunity to respective students to accumulate the required 23 credits for graduation. In addition, the school offers tutoring, test preparation, mentoring, career planning, CTAE and foreign language. The school’s small class size is still another positive element for those who have found the traditional high school approach unfulfilling. This reality is particularly important for the delivery of individualized instruction and in the support of special education students who are served at Mountain Education. The Hall campus is part of a vast system of eighteen campuses serving students in the North Georgia Mountains. The home office is situated in Cleveland and information regarding the scholastic institution may be obtained by calling 706-219-4664 or by visiting the website at www.mymec.org.
