UF History Department

Congratulations to Ryan Tenner who has been selected as the University of Florida’s 12th Udall Undergraduate Scholarship recipient! Each year, the Udall foundation recognizes just 65 students nationwide who demonstrate exceptional leadership and commitment to environmental conservation and the stewardship of our natural resources. Each recipient receives $7,500 to support their academic and professional goals.

Ryan is pursuing a double major in Political Science and History, along with minors in Economics and Environmental Justice and Policy. He aspires to become an environmental attorney, focusing on water law and developing solutions to pressing environmental policy challenges.

On April 12 the Department's annual Honors History Conference featured our amazing undergraduates presenting their thesis projects! Featured here are just a few of those projects along with the undergraduate award winners!
