SFG will be having elections next Thursday, 4/9 at 6:15 PM through Zoom. If you're interested in joining our Fall 2020 executive board, you are welcome to apply.

Elections Spring 2020 Student Finance Group

Hello everyone,

The SFG executive board has decided to cancel all meetings until April. In light of the current recommendations on campus, we think it is best to ensure everyone's safety and cancel meetings for now.

We will reevaluate whether to hold our April meetings at a later date.

If we are not able to meet on campus by April, we have devised a way to hold elections remotely. If it is determined that we cannot meet in person, we will open online applications for each position.

We have waived all attendance requirements to run for executive board this semester, so we are allowing all of our dues-paying members to apply for executive board.

Our Investment Banking Boot Camp with Wells Fargo Securities has been postponed to the fall semester due to COVID-19 precautions.

Citi's visit has also been postponed for the same reasons.

With a campus-wide temporary transition to online instruction, we will be evaluating how the club will function for the rest of the semester. We will hold one more meeting this week and cover how elections this semester will be handled.

In accordance with campus recommendations, we will waive attendance requirements for all members for the rest of the semester.

The meeting on Thursday the 12th will continue as scheduled.

SFG is proud to host Goldman Sachs on 2/27!

Goldman Sachs recruiters will be on campus to host coffee chats with interested students and will be presenting an information session during our meeting on Feb. 27th.

The coffee chats will be held from 2-4 PM and then the information session will follow at SFG at 6:15 PM.
