The Gainesville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated proudly celebrates Soror Riché Barnes, Soror Lisa Guion Jones, and Soror Bonita Smart for their many years of commitment to our beloved sisterhood!

❤️ Soror Riché Barnes was initiated on February 25, 1994, through the Eta Kappa Chapter at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia.

🤍 Soror Lisa Guion Jones was initiated on June 6, 1999, through the Knightdale-Wake Forest Alumnae Chapter in Knightdale, North Carolina.

❤️ Soror Bonita Smart was initiated on May 18, 1983, through the Epsilon Eta Chapter at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Across the years, these Sorors have continued to carry forward the ideals, values, and legacy of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated through their commitment to sisterhood and service.

Today, we honor their individual journeys and collectively celebrate the years they have devoted to making a difference in Delta and in the communities we serve.

The Gainesville Alumnae Chapter proudly celebrates Soror Ingua Morris on 25 years of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated!

Soror Morris was initiated on April 27, 2001, through the Eta Nu Chapter at Miles College in Fairfield, Alabama. For a quarter of a century, she has carried forward the ideals and legacy of our beloved sisterhood.

We honor this special milestone and celebrate Soror Morris for 25 years of commitment to Delta.

✨ Celebrating 50 Years in Delta! ✨

The Gainesville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated proudly celebrates Soror Connie Bowman Lee and Soror Yvonne Vinson Hughes as they commemorate an extraordinary milestone—50 years in our beloved sisterhood!

Soror Connie Bowman Lee was initiated on January 31, 1976, and Soror Yvonne Vinson Hughes was initiated on May 22, 1976, both through the Lambda Psi Chapter at the University of Florida.

A huge THANK YOU to these incredible volunteers from Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for giving their time today to complete a Meals on Wheels route! 🚗🥘❤️

Their kindness and willingness to serve help us do so much more than deliver meals—they help bring a friendly face, a warm connection, and care to seniors throughout our community.

We are so grateful for community partners like Delta Sigma Theta who continue to show up and make a difference! ❤️🤍

At the close of Early Voting, it is reported that only 14.23% of registered voters have cast their ballots so far.

That means our work is not done!
