The Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations continue!

Last week, our staff participated in a fun game of “Find the Taco!” Throughout the week, mini tacos were hidden all around the school, and staff members, with a little help from students, were on the hunt to find as many as possible!

The staff member who collected the most tacos by the end of the week won a special prize!

Congratulations to Ms. Pryor, who found an impressive 42 tacos and won a gift card to GTO Taqueria!

We had so much fun bringing a little friendly competition, laughter, and excitement to our school while celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this activity such a success!

Our Chalmers Book Fair is coming soon, and we would love to have parent volunteers help make it a success! There are a lot of sign up slots still available!

It will take place November 11-November 19. Volunteers can assist with setting up, helping students shop, straightening displays, and keeping the Book Fair running smoothly!

Before volunteering, all volunteers must have a current district volunteer application on file and approved! If you have not completed the volunteer application yet, please do so (link below) as soon as possible to ensure you're eligible to help during the Book Fair.

A huge THANK YOU to the Gainesville Fire Department for visiting Chalmers Elementary today! ❤️🖤

Our Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon (11/11-11/19), and we are excited to bring the joy of reading to all our students! Each year, we offer Share the Fair, a donation-based fund that helps ensure every child has the opportunity to choose a book during the fair.

If you're able, we invite you to contribute any amount to Share the Fair. Your donation goes directly toward providing book fair dollars to students who may not otherwise be able to purchase a book. Even a few dollars can make a BIG impact!!

Thank you for supporting our readers and helping us make the book fair a fun and inclusive experience for every child! 📚❤️
