🏐🏈 LET’S GO, LEOPARDS! It’s a big week for GJHS Athletics!

Our 7th & 8th Grade Volleyball teams take on Sanger on Monday, August 24, and our 7th & 8th Grade Football teams kick off their season against Decatur on Tuesday, August 25. Come out, wear your RED, BLACK & WHITE, and help us cheer on our Leopards!

Cross-Country had their first meet of the year on Friday. The Girls came up with a 2nd place team finish out of 5 teams. 7th grader Sydney Blumberg finished 5th and 8th grader Audrina Neal finished 9th in the Girls Division which had over 50 girls competing! Both girls also received medals for finishing in the Top 10!

The Boys came in 3rd place out of 7 teams with 8th graders Damian Manriquez, Alfredo Huerta and Mason Ellis leading the way for the Leopards. Boys competed against over 80 runners! It was a good start to the season, and we look forward to two weeks of great practices before our second meet on 9/5 in Valley View.

We are excited to see our student-athletes compete and represent GJHS with P.R.I.D.E., and Live Their Legacy! 🐆🖤
