Who’s ready for this semester’s Honors Reading Day Retreat?! Complete with food, beautiful surroundings, and Honors community…come join us at the serene Austin Cary Forest Campus for a day of studying and fun((: Registration link is in our bio!! Transportation is provided if needed.

The annual Luminaire showcase is coming up in just a few short weeks!! We are partnering with .uf to bring you an art showcase you will never forget! But in order to do that…WE NEED ART!
The art will be judged by a panel and prizes of up to $400 will be given! If you are interested in submitting a price (or any form…from dance to spoken word to painting and more!) check out the link in our bio for more info and the submission form!!

SHO out for our last Town Hall of the year! Join us Tuesday, April 11 at 7:00pm at the Baughman Center for performances by Honors Ensemble and Honor Chords, an exciting guest speaker, and games with Honors Athletics. Not to mention, post-event food! There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about Honors.

Enter into the golden era of the Roaring 20s for an event that truly is all that jazz. Dress in your best rags and join the Student Honors Organization at the iconic Wooly Venue for a night to remember. We will be serving appetizers and desserts throughout the night. The dress attire will be for a formal cocktail party and a donation of two nonperishable food cans will be required for admission.

Membership in SHO will be verified for attendees that select that ticket type. An electronic ticket is required to attend and all guests must bring UFID. Guests that can no longer attend, must cancel their ticket reservation online. Tickets must be canceled by April 9th so we can provide an accurate guest count to the venue and caterers. The $40.00  (+fees) ticket cost will be charged to anyone who cancels after that date or does not attend.

Come on out to the beautiful Baughman Center on Tuesday, March 21st at 6 pm for a special edition of a SHO Town Hall. In honor of Honors Week, we have shifted to the third Tuesday of the month and added some exciting things to our agenda! We will kick off the night with performances from and . We will also have an introduction and games with new Honors organization, ! For the very first time, we will have a faculty presentation by Dr. Andrei Sourakov, a doctor of entomology at the Florida Museum!! We encourage you to sign up for an escape room slot with .honorstabletop afterwards to head over with the rest of SHO!

Join SHO for our first event of Honors Week on Monday, March 20th--the day before Honors Early Registration. We will be out on the Reitz North Lawn from 3-6 pm. This is a great opportunity for you to speak to the Honors Advisors before diving into Early Registration for Summer and Fall 2023 on March 21st! Come out to participate in field games, paint a keychain, paint a pot to take a plant home in, or make friendship bracelets with your SHOmies! We will also have some sweet and savory treats to snack on.

Join other Honors Gators under a tent for a Krishna picnic on Plaza of the Americas the Friday we get back from Spring Break! Enjoy salad with almond dressing, halava, tea, and more. We had such a great time at our last Food Friday and would love to see you all again! In order to receive a Krishna ticket, please register through the link in our bio by Friday, February 17th!

On March 1st, SHO is going to the UF Homey Bee lab! From 3:45-4:30, you will have the opportunity to receive a tour of the UF Honey Bee Lab. “SHO Goes” are events that SHO does not host, but that we will sign you up for so that SHO members may attend together! In just TWO weeks, SHO Town Halls are BACK full swing with a special Valentine’s Day Edition!! So join us on February 14th in the Reitz Union Auditorium at 7pm!
