Few cuts promised in Gainesville Charter Officer and GPD budgets - Alachua Chronicle 05/19/2023

The Staff, children and families at Reichert House are at a lost for words. 10 individuals, 60 youth and 70 on the waiting list, will be without jobs and services by the fiscal budget year of October.

Few cuts promised in Gainesville Charter Officer and GPD budgets - Alachua Chronicle Although the City needs to cut about $19 million from its overall budget for next year, few cuts were proposed in today's meeting, and the cuts were offset by large increases in some of the budgets.

The highlight of our tour was spending half the day with our very own Reichert House and Bethune Cookman Alumni Grad, Eugene Robinson III. A true Inspiration and testament of a young man that grew up as members of the Reichert House and went on to be a light and role model for generations to come.
