Many KBCH students (and some parents!) are part of Community Christian Band (CCB) with director Everett McConn.

CCB is perfect for any student who doesn't have access to a band at their place of learning.

Traditional Band Instruments include Woodwinds, Brass and Percussion. CCB does not teach Strings.

A morning for creative teens featuring the authors of The Fight to Forward, followed by swimming, ziplining, and time to connect with new friends.

9:00–9:45 Interactive Creative Experience

Go behind the scenes of the new award-winning novel, "The Fight to Forward," and discover what it really takes to create a story from the ground up.

See how seven teen authors combined their ideas into one story.
Laugh through the creative disagreements, unexpected mistakes, and problem-solving that shaped the book.

Watch the cover, characters, and page designs evolve from rough concepts to the finished product. Vote on story and design choices to experience the kinds of decisions the team had to make along the way.

You'll discover that great stories aren't just written—they're built through creativity, collaboration, and perseverance.

9:45–Noon Adventure at Camp
