The way of love is not a subtle argument,

Oh my soul!
There are fruits made edible without peeling
But there are many fruits that you need to peel
Before enjoying the taste and harvesting the benefit
The crust of pomegranates is hard
But within a pomegranate lies hidden seeds
Therein is medicine, to detoxify you
Likewise, Allah had given you some rituals
As fruits that need no peeling
But what is often missed
Are the fruits that need to be peeled!
Take the earth as your mosque
For every moment there is a Prayer Call
Stretch every experience as a prayer mat
And stand in the niche (qiblah) of your being
Facing the Focal direction of the Beloved
So that you may receive His Holy Words
A revelation that suits the experience
It may become your Night of Power
An Epiphany of Light
Powerful enough to make you the walking Qur'an
Then you may begin to read, in the Name of Your Lord
It does not matter that you are actually illiterate!
For He is the Only One reciting!

of truth, light, goodness...and the less you see that's anxiety and hopelessness
