Florida’s laws have changed — but responsibility hasn’t. I’m Jamarkus Anderson of Integrity Tactical Solutions. Permitless carry started in July 2023 and open carry was clarified by court ruling in 2025, but there are still strict places you can’t carry and serious penalties if you ignore them.

I believe training is now more important than ever. A license isn’t the same as the skills and judgment that come from hands-on instruction. A Florida CWL still offers real benefits (reciprocity, waiting-period exemptions, proof of training), and structured classes build situational awareness, safe handling, and legal understanding.
