If you want to travel around the world, expand your knowledge, or meet other gators then consider one of HHP's many Study Abroad programs. We offer a range of experiences from clinical shadowing, to cultural experience, to specific industry knowledge.

For UF THEM alumna Virginia Brubacher, the master’s program in Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management gave her more than knowledge for the future. It gave her lessons she could use right away.

Through courses in revenue management, hospitality management, crisis management and tourism trends, Virginia shared how the program helped her connect what she was learning in class to real work in the hospitality industry.

That kind of real-time learning is what helps students move forward with more confidence, more clarity and a stronger sense of where their career can go next!🐊

The legend who changed the game for women in sports 💪!

Former HHP faculty member Dr. Ruth Alexander was the first to advocate for female athletes to have intercollegiate sports at UF. She was a national leader in the Title IX movement for women’s sports and the founder of UF women’s sports 🏆. Her trailblazing legacy is being honored with a new historical marker placed outside Ulster Hall 🏛️.

UF pioneer Ruth Alexander among women honored with state markers Ruth Alexander will receive a historical marker on the University of Florida campus as part of a statewide effort honoring women who shaped Florida history.
