🔟 First Grade Math in Action! 🔟Who knew ten frames could bring so much learning AND fun? Our first graders jumped into the GADOE 10 Flash Dash tasks building numbers, spotting patterns, and strengthening number sense along the way!

Little mathematicians + hands-on learning = BIG tidal waves of thinking happening at Fair Street! 🌊🐅❤️🐘

🐙❤️ When We Move Together, We Make Waves
Our second graders and their teachers took on the Octopus Race during our PBIS Kickoff Rally and underneath all the laughter was something pretty special!

Have a plan. Move together. Communicate. Adjust when needed. Hold each other up. And don’t leave anyone behind! 💪

The strongest teams aren’t the ones where everyone moves the fastest, they’re the ones who know we get farther when we MOVE together and HOLD everyone up! Our PBIS Kickoff Rally may have been filled with games, cheers and a whole lot of fun, but the real win was watching our Fair Street family live out exactly who we are!

One team. One family. Making waves together. 🌊🐙❤️ 🐅🐘

❤️🌊 THIS. IS. FAIR STREET. 🌊❤️ Today, our entire school came together to kick off PBIS and celebrate our 4 R’s: Ready, Respectful, Responsible, and Role Models. But what really happened was so much bigger than a pep rally!

Teachers stepping up, getting ALL IN, and laying it on the line while their students absolutely LOST THEIR MINDS cheering them on! 🙌😂📣 The roles were reversed, the energy was unreal, and the joy was everywhere. If this doesn’t scream THE BEST TEACHERS & STAFf EVER, I don’t know what does! 🐅❤️🐘

This is what a positive culture looks like.
This is what a school family feels and should look like.

Our students get to walk into a school every day where the adults don’t just teach them, they show up for them, love them, laugh with them, cheer for them, believe in them, and aren’t afraid to look a little crazy for them! 😂❤️

You can have great programs, you can have beautiful buildings, you can have all the resources in the world….. But you cannot manufacture THIS kind of culture!

Our kids are lucky. Our staff is something special. They are ALWAYS there for one another! And today was another reminder that THIS is Fair Street. And there’s nowhere else quite like it! 🙌🐅❤️🐘 Gainesville City School System

Starting the day the Red ❤️Elephant🐘 way! On World Elephant Day, it feels even more special to celebrate everything that makes elephants so incredible: their intelligence, their strong family bonds, and the way they care for one another just like at FSIA.

There’s something special about seeing our students proudly represent Gainesville, the Red Elephants, and being part of the Herd! From the littlest learners to the biggest, we’re building pride, traditions, and a sense of belonging that goes far beyond our school walls! Because it’s always a great day to be a FS Tiger & a Red Elephant in Gainesville City School System!

One Gainesville. One Herd. BIG Red Elephant pride! ❤️🐘 Think BIG, Live RED 🔴
