Highlighting ‘s experience on Semester at Sea 🛳️🩵

“Leaving home for 4 months to travel the world on a floating college campus is one of the scariest things I’ve ever done, but also without a doubt the best thing I have ever done. I have learned so much about myself, not only as a traveler, but as a person, and as cheesy as it may sound, I really have grown in ways that are unimaginable. I am so grateful to be able to see the entire world in ways that I never thought were possible. From sunrise at the Taj Mahal to sunset surrounded by giraffes in the Maasai National Park, this semester has been one of a lifetime.

My best friends in DPhie are one of the biggest reasons why I had the courage to take on this opportunity. The support and genuine love that they show me every single day reminds me that home is always just a phone call away. I could not be luckier to have the most incredible women in my life and I wouldn’t have been able to do this without them.”

“Jade, after four years in Dphie and now somehow about to graduate, it’s crazy to think it all started with us being freshman year roommates. From living in the dorm together to becoming the people everyone constantly confuses for each other, you’ve been such a big part of my entire college experience. From visiting each other’s homes to traveling the world together, we’ve shared so many memories over the years, and we probably know each other better than we know ourselves. I’m so grateful for all the memories we’ve had these past four years and so lucky I got you as my roommate, my twin, and my best friend.”
