🏃🌳 6:30AM — Fun Run at Veterans Park
5K Fun Run/Walk on Milwaukee's Lakefront. Walk 1.5 miles or hop on the bus outside the Hilton Hotel Monday morning to get to the park!

There is still time to sign up! Update your ADSA registration to sign up and pick up your race packets early on Sunday, June 21st!

🎓📚 4–6PM — The Sciencing Challenge Finals
The 3rd Annual Finals will be held at the Baird Center - Grand Ballroom A! 7 university teams will be competing for the grand prize of $1,200! Come see who wins and cast your vote for the People's Choice!

🧀🍦🍺 6:30PM — The Dairy Collective at The Beer Garden in the Deer District!
Local dairy experts will be set up showing off their cheese, ice cream and more! Stop by each to learn something new, try a sample and get a stamp to enter the raffle. The first 100 people to turn in a completed stamp card will receive a free T-shirt!

Congratulations to Charese Hammond, Mikaela Martin, Jenna Larson, and India Wilson for receiving the 2026 Florida Feed Association Scholarship!

Charese and Mikaela are grad students in the lab. Jenna is an undergraduate in the lab and India is about to start her MS with Dr. Vyas.

Happy Graduate Student Appreciation Week!

We had a fantastic time celebrating our incredible graduate students, an essential part of our community and the driving force behind our teaching, research, and extension missions.

Great Cuban food from Mi Apa, wonderful live music by Maggie Clifford & Rafael Abdalla, and even better company made for a truly special evening.

Congratulations to Abigail Erwin who presented her poster at the Undergraduate Research Symposium at the University of Florida!

She worked with Gerald Salas-Solis on our National Science Foundation (NSF) funded project on sustainable dairy nutrition.

Proud of her and Gerald! UF's Symposium was quite impressive with ~600 abstracts! Kudos to our Center for Undergraduate Research!
