Do you have a 6th Grade student? Did they tell you that they received an ice cream treat during lunch on Wednesday??

They have done it! They have made it through the first few weeks of middle school and they deserved a treat! The FMCS PTA provided free ice cream sandwiches to all of 6th grade to welcome them to Fort Clarke!

Hello Falcon Families! We have our first volunteer opportunity of the year!

This year, the PTA is assisting with PBIS support. PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support) is a school-wide approach focused on teaching and encouraging positive behavior. Teachers explicitly teach students what positive traits--like respect, safety, and responsibility--look like in places like the classroom, cafeteria, and bunker. When students follow these guidelines they receive positive feedback and rewards (Falcon Flex), creating a safe, predictable, and supportive environment where every child can success.

This year Ft. Clarke PTA is helping to support the PBIS program by providing volunteers for the PBIS store 3x/month. Students will be able to exchange their Falcon Flex for items in the store!

For the month of September the schedule is:
9/3/26 - During all Lunch Periods (you can sign up for only one lunch if you'd like!)
6th Grade - 11a-12p
7th Grade - 12 - 1p
8th Grade - 1 - 2 p
9/14/26 - During Morning Bunker in the Cafeteria 8:30-9:30a
9/25/26 - During Morning Bunker in the Cafeteria 8:30-9:30a

A great opportunity for students to learn more about the clubs at Fort Clarke!

Our first club fair for our students is scheduled for August 28th during all grade level lunches. This is a great time to learn about the extra curricular opportunities that Fort Clarke has to offer!

Golden Talon is $750 for the year for a 6' x3' banner, printed by the PTA.
Silver Wing is $500 for the year for a 3'x2' banner, printed by the PTA.

If you are headed to today's Meet the Teacher, consider dropping off items for our student services! We are in need of feminine hygiene products, deodorant and socks! There will be a bin by the PTA table and there will continue to be one in the front office!
