PDA (painting and drawing association) will be having a meeting this Monday, February 20th at 6:15 pm in the seminar room on the first floor of FAD!

This Wednesday PDA will be meeting in room 111 in FAD!
We'll be gathering there and walking as a group over to a lecture by Jennifer Rea in FAB.

Hello all,

Portfolios for upper division art courses are due soon, and the Painting and Drawing Association would like to do what it can to help. Senior art majors are offering to individually go through portfolios this Wednesday at 6:27 pm in the seminar room on the first floor of FAD. Bring any files you have so far, or just questions, or just your joy and excitement at finally applying to your major.
Also, we would like to pump a little life back into the club, so look out for future meetings (every other wednesday) and for a call for entries soon.

So, we've let the ball drop a bit the last few weeks, but we'd like to get together once more before the end of the semester. Come out this Wednesday at 6:27 pm to the seminar room in FAD for a get together with cool people and a holiday film!!

Hello All!

So, normally tomorrow would be a general body meeting. However, due to the busy schedules of all the officers, we will have to cancel this one.
November 18 will be the next meeting, and the last meeting before Thanksgiving break. So we will make it a super special awesome, get together, watch a movie and unwind sort of event. Mark your calendars and come hang out on the 18th!

This is a reminder that we have a call for artists going on - this is an opportunity to display works at art bash!

Kaleidoscopic Self: Reflecting on the Complexity of Self Expression
is PDA's next show in the Convergence Gallery. Consider the complexity of your multifaceted identity, because it is more than just the binary of inward vs. outward expression.This is an exploration of your kaleidoscopic self through art. Self portrait/portrait series, progression, metamorphosis, plurality, etc. are just some of the approaches you could have for this exhibition.

We will be in FAC 117 until 3 today to receive works, and if you can't make it by then, email us at [email protected] and bring it to us by Sunday at noon. Leave a title, your name, and materials/date with your pieces.

We can't wait to see your beautiful works! Let's make this show great :D
