If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be?
I would choose to go into the amazon rainforest and spend the day taking pictures of as many different species possible. I love animal photography and would jump at the opportunity to take pictures deep in the amazon as it is one of the most diverse ecosystems.

Now You See Them, is an academic forum which focuses on the systemic barriers, implicit bias, and common misconceptions of homelessness. We want to raise more awareness on the “invisible” obstacles the homeless community faces and will be hearing from a guest speaker who has experienced them first-hand. The forum will be held on Nov.17 from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm, @ Little Hall 0233.
This annual event began with a sister in our sorority experiencing the hardships of being homeless and wanting to spread awareness about the adverse experiences the homeless community faces. Her insight and passion are what helped to found this annual event where various organizations at the University of Florida have come together to learn, donate and support the cause.
Those in attendance will also be making sandwiches to donate to homeless individuals! This event has been successful in the past due to the contributions and efforts of our peers, so we hope to see you there!💙💜

Last week, the sisters of Theta Nu Xi explored the meaning of stigma, and how our own cultures contributed to mental health stigma. With the help of our co-sponsors and friends from campus, we were able open to up about our experiences and try to unlearn the lessons growing up with mental health stigma created. Thanks to all who came out and remember to always be kind to yourself 💜💙
