We will be working around the HCSD Farm getting hands on agricultural experience. Even if you have a solid SAE it will still be a fun day to come to! Welcome to East Hall Middle!!

School may be out but our Vikings are still learning!

Yesterday, our East Hall Middle School Summer Learning Camp students had an unforgettable day at Elachee Nature Science Center! 🌿🐍☀️

Students explored the wildlife and plant life native to North Georgia while learning through hands-on experiences and outdoor adventures. Some students even faced their fears and got the chance to pet a snake!

From discovering nature to making memories with friends, our students had an absolute blast!

FREE books for kids all summer long! 📚🚀

The Reading Rocket will be in the East Hall area:

• Mondays at the Ivester North Campus (old White Sulphur Elementary School, 2480 Old Cornelia Hwy.) from 10:30–11:15 AM
• Tuesdays at the Lula Train Depot from 10:00 AM–Noon

Open to all families with kids ages 0-18 (no student ID needed).

☀️ FREE Summer Meals for Kids! ☀️
Hall County School Nutrition is providing FREE meals for all children 18 & under Monday–Friday this summer, May 26–July 31 (except July 3). 🍎🥪

📍 East Hall meal stops:
• Lula Elementary (bus oval on Old Cornelia side) — 10:50–11:10 AM

• Ivester North / old White Sulphur Elementary School (2480 Old Cornelia Hwy) — 10:40–11:00 AM

✔️ Hot lunch served daily
✔️ Breakfast for the next day provided Monday–Thursday
✔️ Friday meals include weekend meals + Monday breakfast

East Hall Middle, Hall County School District, and the Hall County Public Library are committed to helping our students have access to books this summer!

Just a few books over the summer can help students maintain important reading skills and prepare for the upcoming school year.

This summer, EHMS students have several fun reading opportunities available:
• EHMS Summer Reading Rewards for rising 6th–8th graders
• Hall County Public Library Summer Reading Program through Beanstack with prizes and activities
• Community reading rewards from local businesses
• Reading Rocket Book Mobile stops throughout the summer (stopping in the East Hall area at both Ivester North and Lula Train Depot)
• Recommended summer reading lists and resources for all grade levels
