The Gainesville Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs both won Varsity Team Championships at the Conway Invitational, competing against 12 schools. Each team placed six runners in the top 20 and brought home 12 individual medals.

As we move through the second half of the season toward Districts, our varsity teams are focusing on racing as a team while continuing to pursue individual goals. Every position matters, and every runner contributes to the team's success. We're seeing that mindset develop as our athletes compete for every place and learn to push through difficult moments.

Both junior high teams finished second overall. These runners continue to develop confidence, toughness, and a better understanding of what it takes to compete. Their progress throughout the season has been encouraging.

Our fifth-grade girls earned another strong team finish. Their effort and determination are building a solid foundation for Gainesville Cross Country's future.

BEYOND THE RESULTS

While team championships and individual medals are worth celebrating, we're equally proud of the effort across the entire program.

From elementary through varsity, every runner matters, regardless of finishing position. Our athletes are learning the value of staying in the fight, even when a race isn't going the way they hoped. That determination, along with the willingness to work for their teammates, is what we're continuing to build.

We're proud of the progress these teams are making and can't wait to see how they respond as the championship portion of the season approaches.

Today the Animal Science Class prepared a f***l sample from horses and goats to perform a f***l analysis. Students studied internal and external parasites, symptoms and controls this week and completed a f***l analysis in class.
