Happy Newroz!

Newroz is the traditional new year festival that is celebrated on the first day of spring, usually on March 20 or 21. It is a time of renewal and rejuvenation, and is observed by people of many ethnicities and religions. The festival is typically marked by various cultural and social activities.

Recently, we celebrated Newroz with my daycare children, which was a very fun and festive occasion. We encouraged the children to dress up in traditional Kurdish clothes that are typically worn during Newroz festivities. The children had a great time learning about Kurdish culture!

These photos capture the joy and excitement of the children as they celebrated this special occasion, and I believe this would bring a smile to many faces.
