Reading Tutor\Orton-Gillingham Approach Reading Tutor specializing in the Orton-Gillingham Approach Hi! My name is Megan White and I am a mom, educator and tutor.

I have been in the classroom for the past decade and have experience teaching\tutoring children of all ages. My education includes a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Memphis and an Education Specialist's degree in Applied Cognition and Development from the University of Georgia. In addition, I am Orton-Gillingham trained. The Orton-Gillingham Approach was initially designed for use with children with dyslexia. It has proven to be beneficial not only for children with dyslexia, but for any child having difficulty learning to read or having trouble spelling. Upon learning about OG, I became eager to become trained and provide this approach to children who need a more intensive, interactive approach to get them the help they need :).
