A recent lesson on coral reefs and acidification was a real hit with the kids. We explored the hands-on process of ocean acidification and its impact on coral bleaching. The kids were thoroughly engaged, and I enjoyed guiding them through the thought process. We also conducted further experiments with acidic and basic formulas and demonstrated how acidic the ocean can become by using vinegar to disintegrate shells. ゚viralシ
Through real-life scripts, we develop our Spanish language abilities. After completing a theme or topic, we apply the learned vocabulary in diverse scenarios, using scripted role-plays. This method is highly engaging for students and significantly enhances their language retention.
This is what hands-on learning looks like. It combines movement, flexibility, table work, carpet work, and love. We have available seats for those who wish to join this phonics; please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

FYI——> New changes at the Florida Dept of Education in regard to homeschooling.
Apparently there have been some changes at the Florida Dept of Education that may be of interest
Sandy Eggers who was the Florida Director of Home Education and has helped in many situations including issues in which a school district and parent have had an issue with each other such as when districts have over-stepped their bounds, has retired.
There's been a reorganization. Office of Independent Education and Education Choice (IEPC) is new and includes oversight of charter schools, home education, virtual schools, and k-12 scholarships such as the PEP and Unique Abilities.
Sandy seems to have been replaced by two officials and they have a new email address:
Stephen Bochnia, Virtual and Home Education Director
Deneka Hudson, Virtual and Home Education Program Specialist

Today we wrapped up our mini unit on Chile, covering its history, location, landmarks, culture, food, and art. The students finished the lesson with a traditional Chilean snack, a "completo" hotdog with various toppings, which was a delight. They also completed their art project, Arpilleras, and discovered how the native people used to sew hidden messages to save their country. We gained a profound understanding of this country, making it a highly engaging experience.
