Home With Dee Homeschool Services HWD is a homeschooling service that provides homeschool co-op classes, evaluations, homeschool coaching, tutoring, individualized lesson plans, and more.

The Home With Dee Homeschooling Co-op is for parents in Gainesville looking to get their children involved in a fun, educational and well structured learning environment. We focus primarily on project based lessons where children will benefit from a small group setting. Our topics include (but not limited to): Reading; Storytime; Arts and Crafts; Science Experim

ents; Nature Exploration; Math; Holiday Projects & Performances. Lessons are taught primarily by myself, Diana "Dee" Pineda, though parents can volunteer to teach lessons as well. It's a full community effort. Our co-op will be meeting once a week, and RSVP's are required by all children attending due to limited space. Ages vary from 4-12.

In Geography through Art & Food today, students completed their Côte d’Ivoire masks from last week and began exploring Ghana. We made chocolate bars and tasted cacao fruit, which the kids enjoyed for its unique texture and flavor. We also sampled plantains, a common side dish in both Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana. Today’s Teen Club was all about teamwork + leadership

We spoke about how everyone brings something different to the table. Then we tested it, teams designed and built towers using limited materials and a budget.

Geography Through Art & Food
Ages 8–12 Every Tuesday | 1:00–2:15 PM August 11, 2026

Does your child love to create, explore, and try new things? Join us as we travel the world without leaving the classroom!

Students will:
Create art inspired by a different country
Learn about cultures, traditions, landmarks, and geography
Sample or make foods from around the world
Discover history through engaging stories and hands-on activities

This interactive class is designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning while exploring our amazing world one country at a time!

The first week of school is officially in the books, and it was a blast! It was so nice to see our returning kiddos and meet some new ones.

We kicked off the week with:
• Forensics: Jr. and Teen classes started their investigations
• Geography Around the World: Learned about continents and created clay art
• US Geography: Explored states and regions of the USA
• Teen Club: Launched our hands-on group and set expectations for the year

All the kids seem happy to be back and are already making new friends. I can’t wait to see how this year unfolds! ゚viralシ @

Does your child struggle with reading or need extra support building strong phonics skills?

Join our fun, hands-on phonics class! Students will practice letter sounds, phonemic awareness, blending, and important phonics rules through games, interactive activities, and playful learning.

Our goal is to help children build a strong reading foundation, grow in confidence, make new friends, and discover that learning to read can be fun!

Strong beginnings create confident readers. Join our class and let’s learn, play, and grow together! We meet every Tuesday at 10 AM- 11:15. Classes are $55 a month, we are a step up provider.

Our final week of summer camp has come to a close. It has been a true pleasure teaching and spending time with these students over the past weeks. New friendships were formed and wonderful memories were made. Thank you for an unforgettable summer.
