The pre-K through 5th graders had a blast at fall field day, thanks to absolutely perfect weather; crisp, cool air, a bright blue sky, and plenty of warm autumn sunshine. From sack races and soccer relays to pumpkin rolls and bucket towers, the kids ran, laughed, and cheered for their classmates all day. Teachers and parent volunteers couldn't have asked for a better day, and the smiling, rosy-cheeked faces said it all: it was a field day to remember. Thank you to all our volunteers that helped out! The day would not be possible without your support.

Students in Ms. Womack’s class were hard at work tackling thinking tasks as they explored different multiplication strategies! We love seeing our students think critically, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and build confidence as mathematicians.

It’s Custodian Appreciation Week!

This week, we’re proud to celebrate Ms. Mariana, Ms. Mariam, and Mr. Washington, and thank them for all they do for Tyler Elementary!

Every day, they work hard behind the scenes to make sure our school is clean, safe, and ready for our students to learn and grow. Their dedication, care, and hard work make a difference throughout our entire school community. Please join us in showing our amazing custodial team how much we appreciate everything they do!

Kindergarten doesn't get much better than this!

Miss Benton’s class had a great time learning about and exploring their five senses by creating their own applesauce. Meanwhile, Mrs. McCulla’s class was on the move during music with Mrs. Rothenmeyer, having tons of fun with the parachute!
