Congratulations to Darby School of Psychology Women's College spring 2026 graduates! It was a joy for our faculty to stand alongside their former students at graduation on May 1st. The Brenau Center for Counseling and Psychological Services-Ivester House held a pop-up workshop at Ivester Early College on Tuesday April 21st. PsyD Interns Tomeki Davis, Daja Robinson, and Hafsa Ahmed-Bradford shared relaxation tips to help with anxiety as well as activities with students like balancing feathers to manage stress level, blowing bubbles for breathing technique, and tips to be ready for exams.

Nursing Pinning Ceremony⭐🩺Congratulations to our BSN, ABSN, and ELMSN students who are graduating tomorrow from Brenau’s Mary Inez Grindle School of Nursing! We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication, and we can’t wait to see the practicing nursing professionals they become!

The Brenau PsyClub held its final meeting and celebration of the year on April 14th. The following received PsyClub honor cords:

Congratulations to Darby School of Psychology Assistant Professor Blaine Schultz for receiving the Outstanding Part-time Faculty Award at this year's Honors Convocation on April 9th! Prof. Schultz teaches both undergraduate and master's level psychology courses and has been with Brenau since 2003.

The Darby School of Psychology's Dr. Julie Battle along with other Brenau faculty and staff volunteered with the 16th Annual Sweep the H***h cleanup on Saturday, March 20th. This event, organized by Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, cleans up trash and recyclables from various parks, creeks, and river access points.

April Ross, Executive Director for the Georgia Commission on Family Violence, was a guest speaker for the Darby School of Psychology's Child Maltreatment and Advocacy class. The course is co-taught by Dr. Julie Battle and State Court Judge Kelley Robertson.
