We, the students of Brenau University, through self-governance, foster college spirit, promote all interests of the institution, and cooperate with the administration, faculty, and trustees. In order to preserve and further these aims we will maintain open and fluid communications with the student body, administrations, and trustees.

Fall 2026 SGA Open Forum was a success! 🎉🎉

SGA shared insights about campus transportation, water bottle cleaning options, student activities board, FYE, student involvement, commuter involvement, dining hall, athletic student section, vending machines, and undergraduate college and women’s college unity. We made so many strides to continue to make Brenau the best campus it can be. Stay tuned for our next Open Forum to continue to hear about the updates on these initiatives and different topics raised by SGA members.

This is one of the opportunities SGA provides where you can talk directly to the Executive Leadership of Brenau University!

Come hang out with SGA and the Executive Leaders of Brenau at Open Forum this Thursday, October 1 from 12:45–1:45 PM in Banks Recital Hall in the John S. Burd Building! Follow the signs and they’ll lead you right to us.

Open Forum is a chance for students to share what’s on their minds, bring up ideas or concerns, ask questions, and have conversations about what’s happening on campus directly to Brenau Executive Leadership. SGA wants to hear from you, and these conversations help us better understand what students need and what matters to the Brenau community. You don’t have to come with a big concern or a prepared statement, just come, listen, and be part of the conversation.

We’ll see you there!

This form is utilized for students/student groups to request funding for their events with Brenau University. After completing this form, SGA will contact you for further details needed for approval. Events must be already approved by SD&E in order to for the form to be considered.

Note: All money requests should be sent in two weeks in advance (10 business days) to be approved. Likewise, all campus events must be sent in for approval two weeks (10 business days) in advance.

More details regarding budget requests are stated in the form!
