Alpha Chi Omega was founded on October 15, 1885 at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. They were the first such group in the music school and believed they’d be the last. So they chose as their name the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet—Alpha and Omega. They put the word “Kai” (and) in the middle, and later changed it to the Greek letter Chi. Dear Reagan,
Having you as my big has been better than I could have ever imagined. I love our movie nights together, fam dinners and our weekend adventures. I’m so grateful that Alpha Chi brought me such an amazing, brilliant, big and fam. Sitting together at every meal and talking about our fitness spring break goals as we eat penne alfredo has been absolutely joyful. Couldn’t imagine having anyone else show me the ropes of freshman year and make UF as great as it has been. So glad you picked out my sign to hold on bid day🫶🏼 Road-trip again soon?!

When I met you on bid day, I had a feeling that you were going to be my little. Your personality lights up the room and can make anyone laugh. I’m so grateful you joined Alpha Chi and I’m glad to be able to call you my daughty. I love that you fit into our family so well, a match made in heaven lol.
