Way to go Dr. Marull!!
Join us in congratulating University of Florida professor Dr. Crystal Marull on receiving the UF College of Liberal Arts and Sciences International Educator of the Year award! 🏆
Dr. Marull leads the work at UF to design and deliver engaging Spanish language courses to UF Online students. Dr. Marull’s award-winning courses give online Gators the opportunity to have one-on-one student conversations with Spanish speakers worldwide to enhance the cultural education experience. The possibilities of engaging language education with Dr. Marull are limitless!
"This award affirms my belief that internationalization efforts can be as successful, if not more so, in the online environment. By leveraging technology to sidestep geographical constraints, students have the opportunity to explore the world from home. This approach increases student access to the benefits of cultural immersion opportunities, which traditionally are restricted to the few students who have the time and money to study abroad. Virtual immersion is a game-changer for internationalization initiatives." - Dr. Marull
Dr. Marull’s talents for the design and delivery of engaging Spanish language courses are available to all UF Online students! We’re so proud to celebrate her receiving this award. 🐊
