The Office of Sorority & Fraternity Affairs, is the office of professional staff that provides guidance, education and support to the Florida Greek community. The purpose of the Florida Greek community is to foster the development of well-rounded individuals who embody the values of positive leadership, service, scholarship and community while maintaining respect for the values, traditions and rituals of the member chapters.

This week’s Chapter of the Week is the Iota Lambda chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc! Since its inception on the campus of The University of Florida on May 17, 1975, the Iota Lambda Chapter has remained devoted to the noble purpose, and ideals that serve as the foundation of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. For over 40 years, Iota Lambda has unceasingly served the greater Gainesville community, excelled in scholarship, and strengthened relations among all women! 🐊
