Great morning, as you prepare for your day walking in the knowledge that nothing we do nothing we encounter no obstacle or mountain ahead of us is a surprise to God trust the process cast all your careers on Him. He cares for you.

Sometimes growth requires letting go.

We let go of clothes that no longer fit, hobbies we no longer enjoy, clutter that has taken up too much space, relationships that have run their course—and sometimes, we have to let go of old versions of ourselves.

There comes a time when you can no longer keep answering to who you used to be.

People may remember your mistakes.
They may remember your broken season.
They may remember what you did, where you came from, or who you were before God began doing a new thing in you.

But you don’t have to answer to an old name.

Answer to what GOD calls you.

Chosen.
Redeemed.
Forgiven.
Saved.
Loved.
A child of God.
An heir to the Kingdom.
A new creation.

And when old habits, old thought patterns, and old labels try to call you back—don’t answer.

You’ve outgrown that version of yourself.

There is nothing wrong with looking around your life and realizing, This doesn’t fit me anymore. That’s not always rejection. Sometimes that’s growth.

As the old saying reminds us:
“It ain’t what they call you, it’s what you answer to.”

So today, be careful what you answer to.

God has already told you who you are. 💜

It’s okay to outgrow people, places, things—and even your old self.
