From astronaut training simulations to collaborative problem-solving missions, our Upper Secondary students experienced STEM education in action at Kennedy Space Center.

This field study reflects an important aspect of Montessori adolescence: learning through meaningful work, global awareness, and real-world application.

As young people inherit a rapidly changing world shaped by technology, environmental challenges, and international collaboration, students need opportunities to think critically, adapt creatively, and work collectively toward solutions.

Montessori education prepares adolescents not only for academic success, but for purposeful participation in the future.

In a Montessori elementary classroom, collaboration is at the heart of every day. Children work together to solve problems, share discoveries, and celebrate each other’s growth. Whether it’s a group research project or a spontaneous moment of helping a friend, the joy of learning together fills the room with curiosity, respect, and laughter.

"This week we continued our investigation of ancient writing with many independent explorations and a a lesson on the importance of the Rosetta Stone in deciphering hieroglyphics. Lower elementary has been learning all about Ancient Egyptian society, culture and religious beliefs.

At this time of year, there is so much momentum going! We’re seeing lots of awesome work choices as well as an abundance of projects, skits and creative ideas." - Ms. Erin - Elementary Lead Teacher
